Couch to 5K

Today is the day...I ran. Since I have been pregnant and/or nursing since summer 2009, my body has taken quite the nosedive.
I have been doing weight watchers and have had some success (-5 lbs so far) but I feel the need to amp it up. So I signed up to do a color run on August 11th-9 weeks from tomorrow.
I started the Couch to 5k program and go figure- there is an app for that. I just completed my first run.
I am hot and sweaty but I feel GREAT!!

First Day- June 2013

Here is my first day. The elusive husband even makes an appearance this month :) We started the day by driving to my sister’s for an overnight trip. It ended with a girls night out so the last picture is with an iphone in a dark bar near my hometown.  It was a really great day.

Hattie Mae

First Day April 2013

 

Here is our First Day.  Nothing too exciting, just hanging out at home with the kiddos all day. (It is Hattie’s FIRST First Day post appearance)  If spring ever decides to show up here in the Northland, we will be outside WAY more.  It barely hit 30 degrees here yesterday.  30!!!!  I’m so over it and am running out of activities to keep these little hands and minds busy all day.  Hoping First Day May looks WAY different :)
